Chesham United 1

Cirencester Town 3

FOLLOWING last week’s disappointing performance at home against St Neots Town there was a positive response from Cirencester Town as they scored three goals on the road to bring three points back from Chesham United.

The first half was goalless despite The Centurions dominating proceedings and creating several opportunities – two of which were cleared off the line.

Ross Langworthy, restored to the starting line-up, finally opened the scoring with a composed finish into the top right corner.

Ollie Knight increased the lead, following good work from Zack Kotwica, and with a minute of normal time remaining Curtis Ujah pulled a goal back for the hosts as the ball was bundled over the line.

Two minutes later Brad Hooper completed the scoring from the penalty spot after some clever play from Kotwica was brought to an abrupt end by a foul in the box.

Full report to follow.
