Carterton 2 Purton 0
PURTON'S unbeaten league run ended when they went down 2-0 at Kilkenny Lane on Saturday against Carterton, writes Alan Eastwood.
After a first half in which Purton held their own, two Carterton goals in the 49th and 58th minutes secured the points.
Both keepers made some good saves in a game which featured a host of chances.
Dave Gee, David Coleman, Sam English and Marcus Hall all went close for Purton, while both Carterton goals resulted from the visitors giving the ball away in vital areas.
