IN Division One of the Bank House Gloucestershire county league, Ben Langridge finished with 3-10 from just 2.5 overs as he wrapped up a 129-run home win for Cirencester against Corse & Staunton after skipper Gareth Williams had earlier compiled 69.
Stone and Slaughters United are setting the early pace in Division Two.
Ben Hunt, meanwhile, captured 6-31 for Cranham but finished on the losing side as the Slaughters went on to win by 34 runs.
And also 100 per cent at this early stage of the campaign are Fairford who trumped Hawkesbury Upton (93) by eight wickets, Guy Bailey (3-20) and Will Bowers (3-27) being the pick of the attack.
In Division Four, Haresfield Gladiators squeezed in by one wicket off the last ball in a home clash with Chalford.
Richard Weager (32) and Liam Catchpole (27*) led the visitors to 128-7, Jason Taylor finishing with 3-34 and Sunny Kalcutt 2-14.
The Gladiators also had to battle for runs, Stuart Oakes hitting 40 before the last-wicket pair of Max Gibbons and Sam Hill held their nerve amid rising tension.
