FAIRFORD TOWN Football Club has renewed its successful association with main sponsor Burger Star for a further year.

The new deal, which will run until the end of the 2015/16 season, will see the Burger Star logo also appear on reserve team shirts and includes sponsorship of stands on the eastern side of the club’s Cinder Lane ground.

Burger Star first joined as main sponsor in June 2014 and the four-figure deal helped the club with new first team kit and tracksuits, while ground advertising boards were also installed.

Burger Star received both local and national exposure with the visit of the FA Cup trophy generating interest on television, radio and online – as there were more than 40,000 visitors to the club’s website during the campaign.

“We are delighted that Burger Star has renewed for another year and we are looking forward to building on what has been a successful season of partnership,” said Fairford Town FC president Mike Tanner.

“Stuart (Pike) and Burger Star have been most supportive throughout their first season, not only in financial terms, but around the club. It was his sponsorship of the John Hartson evening that enabled us to make it a financially rewarding event.

“There are plenty of ideas and initiatives planned ahead of next season, during which the club will celebrate its 125th anniversary, so watch this space.”

Burger Star boss Stuart Pike, a former chairman of the club and a Fairford resident, said: “I am delighted to be renewing this agreement for another year to support football in Fairford. The coverage and exposure received from the FA Cup visit to the town was superb and I am looking forward to being a part of what looks like being an exciting 2015/16 season.”
