CIRNCESTER TOWN'S Jordan Ricketts came off the bench to help Hartpury U19s clinch the ECFA Premier League title with a ruthless 2-0 victory over Strachan College this week.
Mustapha Bundu scored a splendid early solo goal to help settle Hartpury’s nerves.
Bundu could have put the game out of reach for Strachan when beating the defence for pace only to toe-poke the ball wide.
The second half was a much more even affair and keeper Harvey Rivers was called upon to make a fantastic save to deny the Strachan captain before he also saved a penalty.
Strachan were still looking for an equaliser when their centre half got the ball stuck under his feet.
Ricketts pounced, nicked the ball and coolly slotted past the goalkeeper to see Hartpury home.
