Senior Captains' Foursomes
THIRTY-EIGHT rain-soaked seniors took part in the annual Senior Captains' Foursomes at the Cirencester Golf Club.
Despite the terrible conditions, seniors captain and vice captain, Clive Bennett and Andrew Tunnicliffe, managed to compile a winning score of 34 stableford points.
That left them ahead of Alan MacDonald and John Cross (32pts).
The third-placed pairing was Mark Woodhead and Mike Bishop who pipped Ian Allan and Michael Helyer on countback.
