STRATTON YOUTH ROUND-UP

Stratton Youth U15s 2 Ashton Keynes U15s 0

A GOAL in each half from Matt Hopkins and Michael Cook secured a 2-0 win for the Stratton U15s at home to Ashton Keynes.

Ashton defended in numbers making it difficult for Stratton to create chances on the heavy pitch and the visitors relied on a lone striker to break quickly, but an impeccable defensive display by Louie Jackson, using his pace and strength, ensured they imposed little threat to the Stratton goal.

Stratton Youth U12s 6 Chiseldon U12s 1

STRATTON took control straight from kick-off with Barney Kimber scoring in the first minute.

Thomas Jones, Harry Dyer, and Fred Hall added further goals, while Darcy Merchant-Hills scored a consolation goal for Chiseldon to give Stratton a 4-1 lead at half-time.

With Stratton making changes at regular intervals, they failed to add to the score until Josh Littler-Jennings added two late goals.
