Malmesbury Vics Res 1 CHQ Utd 2
MALMESBURY'S young reserve side maintained their good recent run of results by pushing champions CHQ all the way.
The game was competitive with the experienced CHQ slightly shading the goalless first half.
Three minutes into the second half the visitors took the lead when Joe Grafton finished well after the home side failed to clear.
The game became a dogged midfield affair, with the hosts being let down by their final ball into the box.
But in the 72nd minute Malmesbury squared the game when Jif Wilkins was on hand to sweep the ball home after some good approach play.
Instead of settling for a point The Vics pushed for a win and were caught out, when Fabian Daniels struck from the edge of the box to wrap up the points for CHQ.
