TWO teenage players from Cirencester Golf Club have been selected to join the Gloucestershire Golf Union U16s winter training squad.
Chalmers Phin and Lewis Flett, who play off handicaps of 8 & 9 respectively, are both coached at Cirencester by James Harraway.
Chalmers is 15 and a Year 10 pupil at Kingshill School.
He has been playing golf for four years and turned out for the county U14s this season. He has now made the step up to the U16s squad.
Lewis is aged 14 and is in the year below Chalmers at Kingshill.
He, too, has been playing golf for just four years and it is his first call-up to the GGU county set-up.
