CHQ UTD gained a good win over Poulton, the highlight being a hat-trick from Joe Grafton.
But the hosts' task was made easier as Poulton missed several good chances, especially in the first half.
Goals from Grafton after 10 and 30 minutes set CHQ on their way but Poulton, who had an equal share of the play during this period, created enough good openings to have been at least level at the interval.
Fabien Daniels made the game safe for CHQ 10 minutes into the second half and they went on to have things very much their own way from then on.
An own goal from Delroy Fallon made it 4-0 before Grafton completed a fine hat-trick 10 minutes from time.
