RACHAEL TUCK of Luckington in Wiltshire has qualified for the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) at Birmingham's NEC from October 8-12.
Rachael made it through the Riding Horse Hack class at the South Essex Insurance Broker’s (SEIB) Search for a Star 2014.
She gained her qualification on a 'wild card' having taken third place at the SEIB Search for a Star qualifier at Summerhouse Equestrian Centre in Gloucestershire earlier this year.
Rachael will ride her horse Kilcahill Kylie (Mandy) at HOYS.
Rachael said: “I am thrilled to have qualified as I wasn't expecting to even be placed at the qualifiers.
"Mandy hasn't been ridden for more than a month as she was having a break. So we have just over three weeks to do some serious work!"
Rachael can expect a very busy week at HOYS as she will also be working there as sales director for equestrian company Snuggy Hoods who exhibit at the event.
