SHORTWOOD striker Duncan Culley has penned a full-time deal at Vanarama Conference South side Bromley, writes Ashley Loveridge.
The 25-year-old hot-shot striker, who bagged 39 goals last term, has moved to the Ravens after their boss – former Crystal Palace owner Mark Goldberg – put in a seven-day approach last week.
He made his debut on Saturday as a second-half substitute in Bromley’s 2-1 victory at Farnborough.
The former Farmor’s School, Fairford pupil is delighted to have signed for the London club but leaves Shortwood with fond memories.
He said: “The players, staff and fans have made that club a family for me. If I was staying in the West, I wouldn't want to play anywhere else.”
His superb campaign last season saw him take part in recent trials with Cheltenham Town and Oxford United, where he scored twice in a pre-season game, as well as scoring five times in a friendly for Salisbury City.
He also had talks with Cirencester Town boss Brian Hughes in the close season.
