FLOYD TAYLOR will begin an eighth successive season in a Swindon jersey after the 19-year old forward agreed to a one-year deal to remain at the Swindon Ice Arena this week.
Taylor, born and raised in Swindon, said: "I was pleased to be asked back by Ryan (Aldridge) for another season and I hope to continue where I left off last season.
"I was lucky enough to get on to a regular slot with Aaron (Nell) and Hoogy (Jonas Höög) during the second half of last season and I proved that I can score points and play with the top lines so I hope to do it again."
Taylor broke into the GB U20s ranks last term as well as featuring in a personal best number of EPIHL games.
"Floyd is starting to come of age as he proved last season," said Aldridge.
"He's a talented forward and has a big future ahead of him and he's eager to continue progressing his game so it's great to have him in the team and I'm delighted he will be icing for us once again this season."
Meanwhile, fellow Wildcat Aaron Nell added: "Floyd is a massive part of our team and after Christmas last year he showed what an excellent player he is. He's extremely underrated in my opinion and that works in our favour.
"I'm in no doubt that we have two of the best young players in the country right now in Floyd and Ollie (Betteridge) and they are a massive part of our team."
