CIRENCESTER'S Louis Wall is preparing for a testing trip into the unknown as the Superkart Championship resumes this weekend with a double set of races on Anglesey.

The 25-year-old is this season competing in both the 125cc and 250cc events which usually take place on different weekends.

But the two classes come together on Saturday and Sunday, ensuring a hectic few days for Wall who will be visiting the track in North Wales for the first time.

He said: "Friday's a test drive day and it will be of even more importance than usual as I've never raced here before and need to get to know the track as fast as I can.

"We have two sets of qualifying on Saturday and one race, and the scheduling could not be much harder as the races follow on directly from each other.

"I've basically got to jump straight out of the 125 and into the 250, so that means we have to be very organised and prepared. It's going to be very challenging, both mentally and physically because of the different set-ups."

Last time out at Silverstone, Wall – who is sponsored by KwikFit’s Cirencester branch, the Mansell Collection and the UK Youth charity – produced his best results of the summer to finish second overall in the 250 championship.
