THE Bibury ladies team, the Cotswold Wags, played their first game in the Butcombe British Championships on their home alley, winning by 15 pins over Arthur's Tarts from Glastonbury.

The highest score in the game was achieved by both Anne Biggs and Pauline Ticket with 45 pins. The Wags now travel to Glastonbury for the return leg.

THE Cotswold Cavaliers have also played again against the Numpty Dumpties, winning the game by nine pins.
The highest score of the game came from Tom Manders, with the highest stick-up being Brian Robinson's 11.
