STRATTON Youth FC Child Welfare Officer Karen Whyte is stepping down after giving the club 15 years' service.

Although retiring, Karen will still be available for help and advice to assist the new CWO Lauren Hind.

At the club AGM, chairman Cliff Thrussell thanked Karen along with the departing Steve Cook and Mark Wright for the management of their respective teams.

While the U12s have a new manager the club is looking for someone to look after the U16s.

Anyone interested would be sponsored to Level One coaching qualifications.

Stratton Youth is a Charter Standard club and most of it's 10 teams start training for the new season shortly.

Any new players are always welcome, so if players have failed to get a game at other clubs, they are welcome to join us.

For details call the club secretary on 01285 657836 or 07969 637810.
