IN ORDER to field a team in midweek, B team captain Jonathan Wells persuaded four seniors to turn out and Alan Dymond and Paul Stephens combined to deliver the goods.
Curtis and Jenkins were the other successful Ciren partnership.
Captain Wells and partner Paul Simmonds played well but were beaten by a pair who registered a gross score of 4 under par between them over 18 holes.

THE fast greens at the Warwickshire proved too much for the majority of the Cirencester pairings.
The only pair to register a win were Gavin Allen and Lewis Palmer.
Captain Wells and partner Paul Simmonds were only beaten on the 18th but the remainder of the team suffered heavy defeats.
