CIRENCESTER’S 15-year-old all-rounder Jono Jamieson-Black turned in an impressive performance as Gloucestershire U15s overcame Isle of Wight by a convincing 107-run margin in a 50-over contest in the Park on Sunday.

Gloucestershire U15s 258-9
Isle of Wight U15s 151-8
Batting first, Gloucestershire lost two early wickets, but a third-wicket stand of 116 between Dominic Hooper and Jamieson-Black soon put them in command.
Hooper hit an attractive 74 and Jamieson-Black a workmanlike 75 as Gloucestershire rattled up a total of 258-8. And although Ben Herridge hit a fine 82 when the visitors replied, some tight Gloucestershire bowling restricted them to 151-8, Jamieson-Black taking 2-42 in his 10 overs of off-spin.
