PETE HUTCHINSON stamped his mark on the sixth round of the 2014 Ray Rhymes 10-mile Time Trial – but was pushed very hard by his friend and top competitor Steve Yates.

Ray Rhymes 10-mile Time Trial – Race Six

Pete took first place in 22.22 with Steve seven seconds behind.

Third place was taken by Mark Foyn with a great ride of 24.55.

Gerry Peppin (25.57) led the pack home in fourth followed by Paul Fuchs in 26.28.

Stephen Chapman improved well with sixth place in 26.37, followed by Mark Foyn’s son, Alex, who timed well for a junior in 27.14.

Eighth place was taken by vet Allan Norwood (27.44) followed by a wonderful ride from Marguerite Miatt who just missed the 30-minute barrier but posted a course PB in 30.08. Dave Miatt, on only his second ride this season, achieved 30.55 for 10th ahead of Noel MacKenzie (32.24) and triathlete Carol Clarke (32.59).

Thanks for organisation goes to Swindon RC and the top ride of the day was by Dan Guest (Performance Cycles) who is second claim member of Corinium CC and rode to a record breaking 20.56.
