CIRENCESTER all-rounder Ross Jeffels took the honours as the Town claimed a second CDCA Evening League victory by 10 wickets at home to Dowdeswell last Wednesday.
CDCA Evening League
Cirencester 132-0
Dowdeswell 130-7
Jeffels, who has already proved influential with bat and ball since joining the club from Lechlade, produced a fine four-over spell to take 4-12 as the visitors were restricted to a total of 130-7 batting first.
And he then proved even more effective with the bat, slamming 11 fours and a six in an unbeaten 79 as he and Town skipper Gareth Williams (43no) knocked off the runs with four overs in hand.
The Town now look forward to Saturday’s top-of-the-table Gloucestershire County League Division One clash against unbeaten second-placed rivals Cheltenham Civil Service in the Park (1.30pm).
