SWINDON Wildcats have done perhaps their most significant business of the close season by convincing star forward Aaron Nell to return to the Swindon Ice Arena for another season.
The 24-year old, who has racked up a massive 356 points from 220 Premier Leagues games, said: "I'm extremely happy to be coming back to the club."
The 6' 3" player joined the Wildcats midway through the last campaign from the Sheffield Steelers and that move has now been made permanent.
Nell was quick to highlight the turning point in the club's fortunes.
"After Christmas we came good as a team and had a really good end to the season," he said.
"It's a great team and next season is going to be exciting.
"We want to move that post-Christmas form over to the start of the year this time round and keep it going to the end of the season. Over the last few years the team has struggled leading up to Christmas and then got better afterwards, so we're looking to start off well and have a whole season of good form and that's what I know Ryan (Aldridge - head coach) is looking to achieve.
Aldridge said: "It's great to have Aaron back at the club for next season. There's no doubt he's a fantastic player."
