TEAMS from Oxford and Cambridge will again battle for supremacy tomorrow (May 17) in the annual clay shooting varsity match, being held this year on Oxford’s home turf at the Ian Coley Shooting Ground at Andoversford.

The two teams will compete over a challenging 100-clay course.

This year marks the sixth anniversary of the event since it was reinstated in 2009, after a break of nine years. Oxford has won the match every year since 2009, apart from last year.

President of the Oxford University Clay Pigeon Shooting Club, Harry Touche, said: “We are much-changed from last year's match at Cambridge and are confident we have some good shots in the squad. We will definitely give them a run for their money."
