Ray Rhymes Club ‘10’ series – Race Four

A field of 22 riders took off into the fierce and gusty winds and Sarah came home in 26.22.

Second place, just 13 seconds adrift of Sarah, was Paul Fuchs timing at 26.35 with Paul Burnip taking third in 26.42.

Vet Allan Norwood was fourth in 27.24, blown in all directions as were the other competitors.

Another lady rider, Marguerite Miatt, fought her way round for fifth place (31.41) and perhaps the heavy mountain bike of Terry Barry was the right machine for the night – he timed at 31.53.

In the scratch series, Steve Yates still leads on 59 points followed by Mike Cashman in second place (52), while third is Paul Fuchs (49).

In the ‘Over 40s series, Yates leads with +11.30 followed by Allan Norwood in second place with +7.41, while Andy Morgan is third at +6.08.
