Glos Northern Senior Div Two

Abbeymead Rovers 3

Bibury 3

BIBURY pulled back a two-goal deficit to force a draw at Abbeymead Rovers.

Bibury took the lead after only five minutes when James Keylock side-footed home a left wing cross from Scott Huband.

Abbeymead piled on the pressure looking for the equaliser and on one occasion had three players free in the box without managing to convert the chance. Minutes later Bibury keeper Steve Luce was called upon to make a good save.

Abbeymead did, however, level the scores 10 minutes before the break when the Abbeymead striker capitalised on a defensive mistake to finish well.

Luce then had to make another good save but he could do nothing to prevent Abbeymead taking the lead right on the stroke of half-time.

Four minutes into the second half it got worse for Bibury as the home side scored a third goal.

Bibury rallied and pulled a goal back two minutes later after a ball played into the box by Kanne Outram somehow beat everybody before creeping into the corner.

Huband then finished well from a tight angle to level the scores and despite both sides trying hard for the winner, the game ended in a draw.
