LIVING up to the game's theme tune of 'The World in Union', Royal Wootton Bassett RFC hosted a tour party from the Sunshine Coast Grammar School, of Queensland, Australia for two superb games of rugby played in a brilliantly sporting and friendly manner.
Both games ended in victories for the well drilled and fast-paced visitors, with a joint U15s/U16s match finishing 22-5 and an U17s game ending 31-12.
Josh McCafferty scored the try for Bassett's younger side while Jack Ricketts and Connor Tomley went over for the U17s, with Tom Fieldsend adding a conversion.
Rugby was the real winner, though, with impromptu joint singing sessions from the teams, great food in the form of a hog roast and many friendly exchanges between players and officials.
Sunshine Coast continued their tour with a visit to the Gloucester v Bath Aviva Premiership match and then travelled on to Belgium to play a tour match in Bruges.
