A spirited Supermarine took an early lead before Bassett responded with 24 unanswered points through four tries from Absalom, Anderson, Thapa & Beale and two conversions from Mountford in a workmanlike performance

BOTH sides played their part in an entertaining 10-try match with Bassett celebrating their confirmation as champions of Dorset & Wilts Div Two (North) .
Two early tries from Mike Smith were answered by returning ex-Bassett player Connor Tomley who intercepted and went over as he did in similar style earlier this season.
Tom Sharpe (2) and Josh Lewanituva extended Bassett's lead to 29-7 before Supermarine ran in two tries to bring the score back to 29-21.
Bassett captain Jordan Brown responded with a try before Lewanituva finished off the try-scoring. Full back Tom Fieldsend was successful with three conversions.
