WILTSHIRE county player Lee Evans was in dominant form when The Bees Knees in Cirencester hosted a darts knockout tournament featuring 40 of the area's top players.

The field included stars from the Premier League Darts (PDC) including Mark Cox, Chris Aubrey, and up-and-coming youth player Jack Tweddle, so the standard was going to be high.

Local star Paul Boulton set the early pace, along with Stroud's Scott Lovell.

Evans eventually came out on top in the final against his Wiltshire county team-mate Tony Mauldon which means he has won the last four singles knockouts at The Bees Knees.

Evans and Mauldon joined forces to collect the Cirencester RBL Charity Pairs event.

The next knockout run by landlord Ty Benjafield at The Bees Knees should take place in early May.
