RUNNING Somewhere Else club coach Matt Lambourne demolished his marathon PB by 42 minutes to finish in 3:15.13 while Graham Aitchison completed the 26.2 miles for the first time in 3:38.41 at the Greater Manchester Marathon.
Chedworth 10-Mile Roman Trail
JAMES THOMAS was first to complete this hilly and muddy course for the club , finishing 14th overall in 1:09.12, followed by Simon Bowers in 1:11.55 and
Andrew Maddison in 1:19.10.
Well done to Sally Jamieson who was the first lady to cross the line for the club in 1:23.45 to record a PB. Other times: Katherine Ward (1:32.27), Jo Wood (1:38.30) and Louise Abbott (1:56.24).
Ironman South Africa
ON the other side of the globe Andy Sampson competed in the Ironman South Africa.
Andy finished the race in 16hr 09min with
a swim (3.8Km) of 1:39, a 7hr 47min bike (180.2Km) and a 6hr 8min run (26.2 miles).
