Undaunted, the home side fashioned an equaliser through Iuean Walton. Playing down the hill in the second half, Oaksey were optimistic that they could secure the three points. But they failed to take advantage of the many chances they created.
Tetbury, to their credit, dug deep in defence to keep Oaksey at bay, aided by some excellent saves from their keeper.
The visitors were eventually able to break away scoring what turned out to be the winning goal.
Despite all out, all hands to the pump attack from Oaksey, they hung on to take a deserved win.
The game was played in a good spirit and well refereed by young Frazer Philips.
