Deer Park Archers

There are too many to list individually but here are some of the highlights.

Twelve-year-old Nicole Deasy recorded eight single and double records for various age groups, including both the junior and senior national records shooting Barebow and raising the new record by 48 points.

James Howse smashed the Junior Gents Compound by eight points to 285.

Connie Healey broke five of Lucy Mason's records.

Not to be left out, three of the Deer Park seniors also broke records: Christine Anderton and Mark Crompton broke the Ladies & Gents Double Bray Recurve records and Kevin Sutherland the Longbow record.

There were also junior county records for Josh Leonard, Harry Faulkner, Riley Spencer-Nice, Anna Langdon, Chloe Tucker, Hamish Ponton and Chloe A’Bear.

Mike Dalton, shooting Barebow, broke the national record score by 30 points, but it was not ratified due to a technicality – he had inadvertently left a clicker screw in his riser.

Mike’s ability and application is such that he will break many records in the future!
