DEER PARK ARCHERS, based near Birdlip, are going to use facilities at the Old Patesians Sports and Social Club in Leckhampton for the summer of 2014 – ahead of their move to a new permanent home.
The moving of equipment will commence on March 31 with the construction of the range the following weekend in a secure part of the grounds.
The purchase of a new ground is making good progress and should go to the Planning Committee on April 1.
Deer Park Archers are also starting work in April with the High School for Girls in Gloucester and Active Gloucestershire with a view to establishing a funded satellite club later this year.
Gloucestershire Senior Indoor Championships
DEER PARK ARCHERS fielded a very young team and managed to finish either first or second in every event with some fine individual performances.
