AVONVALE UNITED U15s saw a hat-trick of hat-tricks in this Stroud League game.
Quedgeley Wanderers U15s 1
Avonvale Utd U15s 12 (twelve)
Although the Wanderers battled to the end, the slick passing and movement of an in-form Vale side proved to be too much for the opposition to handle.
Jacob Dove, Ed Ramsey and Josh Eddolls bagged three goals apiece with Sam Hoare (2) and Owen Johnson sealing the win.
Wanderers got themselves a consolation goal with a well-worked corner.
Avonvale MoM: Hugo Pollitt.
PURTON U15s ran out 4-1 home winners against Liden Community thanks
to goals by Knight, Lovitt, Winfield and Hunt, with the Liden score being an own goal
gifted by Purton in their league game at the Red House.
The U16s progressed in the league cup with a 3-0 away win against
Brinkworth Cats. Downs, Millar and Thorne netted the Purton goals.
The U17/18s White side, without a regular keeper and with two players
carrying injuries, took the lead in their away game at FC Calne through Goss
but ran out of steam and lost 5-1.
The U17/18s Red team, with games in hand, hammered bottom
club Northern Lights 16-3 in an away game. Thorburn (4), Cook (3), Harfield (2),
Finch (3), Boyce, Breeder, Dibble and Bowler were the Purton goal-getters in
a resounding win.
