AVONVALE clinched the Division One championship with a nervy win at King's Stanley.

An own goal not long after the break turned out to be enough to secure the three pointsand they can celebrate being winners of the division in the final game of the season at home on Saturday.

A SPIRITED performance from the thirds saw them come back from a two-goal deficit to take a point away at Frampton.
The goals came from Jack Johnson and Jack Thomas, and with a disallowed goal and a further penalty shout denied for Dominic Jackson, Vale were unlucky not to take all three points.
