TWO University of Gloucestershire students have been selected for the England Students rugby league training squad.

Liam Long and Jack Binks, both members of the university's All Golds rugby league side, have been named in a 36-man training squad for the 2014 Student Four Nations Championships this Easter, which will take place at Nottingham University.

Liam and Jack play for the All Golds BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) XIII.

Jack, aged 21, is a prop who hails from Tingley in West Yorkshire and went to Wakefield College. He currently studies Sports Development at the University of Gloucestershire.

Liam, 22, is also an undergraduate at the university, studying Sports Coaching. He plays at wing and originates from Bournemouth.

England Students will face Ireland, Scotland and Wales in the annual Four Nations competition and will look to regain the title after a narrow loss to Wales in the 2012 Four Nations final in Wrexham.
