Tedworth Point-to-Point and Pony Racing - Barbury Castle.
VISITORS to the Tedworth Point-to-Point and pony racing at Barbury racecourse on Sunday, April 6 will not only enjoy six action-packed thoroughbred races, but two fast and furious pony events.
Set on the stunning Marlborough Downs, Barbury provides fantastic viewing.
Leading amateur jockeys from the region and further afield will descend on the Wiltshire track to take part in six competitive jump races. However, the day will begin with pony racing at 12.15pm. These races are for children aged between nine and 16.
Racehorse trainer Jonathan Geake, who is also the pony racing secretary at the Tedworth Point-to-Point, said: “Pony racing is not only a great experience for the children taking part it’s a fantastic spectacle to watch."
Entry on the gate: £10 per person (U16s go free. First race: 12.15pm; last race: 5pm
Barbury racecourse is located on the Marlborough to Broad Hinton road near to Marlborough in Wiltshire.
