ASHTON KEYNES Girls' U12s team have clinched the league title after beating Westbury Belles 8-0 on Saturday
Star striker Poppy Romback scored five goals and there were two from Charlotte Blakeley and one from captain Becky Wilkins.
In an excellent team performance, all the players, including goalkeeper Alex Hobbs, defenders Eleanor Hiller and Katherine Moyse and midfielders Eva Andrews and Amelia Duckworth, had fantastic games.
There are still two league games remaining but with a total of 35 points from 13 games, AK now have an unassailable lead of 13 points.
Team manager Rob Andrews said: "The girls have been magnificent all season and for us to win this league title is an amazing achievement for everyone associated with the club."
