Clanfield 0

FAIRFORD Town secured all three points with superb attacking display against Clanfield.

The Reds hit four goals with Cameron McLarty, Nathan Gambling, Henry Traas and Dan Bailey on target.

After a tense opening to the game it was youngster McLarty who broke the deadlock ten minutes before the break. The striker ran through and beat the keeper at the near post with a low drive.

Gambling doubled the lead from the penalty spot on 42 minutes after the visitors had been reduced to ten men for handball after a goalmouth melee. An impressive full-length save, just without the gloves.

Traas made it three with a neat finish after a slick move before Bailey hit home the fourth following a lung-busting run into the Clanfield half.

Fairford Town: Mitchell; Smith (Skinner), Eddy, Carter, Hawkins; Boucher, Traas, Bailey, Parsons; Gambling (Rudd), McLarty (Montoya)

Subs not used: Stubbs, Curtis.
