CHARLES HILL of Subway Cirencester (Brewery Court) has kindly sponsored Cirencester Town U16s who currently compete in the Nerf Junior premier league.

Cirencester Town U16s currently sit in fourth place but only two points from top spot in a league in which they were champions last term.

Alan Lloyd (Cirencester Town director of football) said: "Charles and Subway have been fantastic to our U16s. They have sponsored our home kit for this season and also supported our football club as a whole by purchasing advertising space within the main stadium and also within the indoor arena.

"Team kits can be very expensive and Subway have helped us out tremendously. It’s great to have local business right behind the football club."

Cirencester Town juniors are looking to recruit more players for both mini soccer and the girls' teams.

Mini Soccer runs every Saturday from 11am to 12 noon for all five to eight-year-olds and the first three sessions are free. The sessions are held at the state of the art indoor arena and run by fully qualified coaches.

The girls' section urgently requires players aged from 11 to 15 in order to enter teams into the girls' leagues next season.

Training/coaching and practise games are currently taking place every Monday from 5pm, also at the indoor arena.
