NICK ELLIS (Naunton Downs) and Ed Goodwin (Cirencester) shot respectable par rounds of 68 at Stinchcombe Hill but that was only worth a share of fourth place in the latest Gloucester & Somerset PGA Medal.
The main prize went to Long Ashton teaching professional Roy Holland who posted an excellent four under par 64.
Holland has been in a rich vein of form and reeled off his fifth consecutive top four finish in these medals and was following up his victory in the event 12 months ago.
Runner-up Giuseppe Licata (65) maintained his lead at the head of the Total Triumph Order of Merit.
