LEE RICHARDSON has returned to the Swindon Wildcats following his departure from the Slough Jets.

After rejoining the Wildcats, whom he left at the end of the 2012-13 campaign, Richardson, 30, said: "I'm glad to be coming home to Swindon, I enjoyed my time at Slough, but it feels great to be coming back.

"I'm hoping to help out Ryan (Aldridge) and the boys in any way possible both on and off the ice.

"I'd like to thank Steve (Nell) and Ryan for making this possible and I'm looking forward to helping the Wildcats climb the table and have a good play-offs."

Richardson, who has made 279 career appearances for the Wildcats, featured 23 times for the Jets this term and although he didn't manage to net a goal, he made ten assists.

The move marks the player's seventh spell with the Wildcats during which time he has scored a total of 67 goals and made 136 assists for 203 points.

The Swindon Wildcats next take to the ice on Saturday, December 28 when they host the Basingstoke Bison at the Swindon Ice Arena, face off 5.45pm.
