CUP competitions dominated last weekend with three Cirencester & District League teams involved in the County Cup.
Poulton and Kingshill Sports both progressed to the quarter-final stage of the Minor Cup with victories over Rank Outsiders and Cheltenham Civil Service A respectively.
Poulton, who were at home, won 3-0 with goals from John Dawson, Will Power, and a late penalty from Steve Andrews.
Kingshill, who have a 100 per cent record in all competitions, won away 5-2.
Down Ampney, who were the only remaining Cirencester League team in the Primary Cup, lost at home 5-1 to visitors Coleford Utd.
In the Alexcars-sponsored Senior Charities Cup, Bibury Res won 2-0 at South Cerney in a very tight game, thanks to goals from Archie Day and Nathan Brunton.
The Beeches also progressed after a 5-2 victory at Sherston, with their goals coming from Jody Lawrence, Stuart Robinson, Danny Gudger and a Richard Sutton brace.
There was one game in the Alexcars Junior Charities Cup, and Siddington Sports Veterans, as expected, ousted visitors Tetbury Town A 4-0.
In the only Division One league fixture, Lechlade`s topsy-turvy season continued when, after losing at Sherston the week before, they surprisingly beat Siddington Sports 4-0.
The visitors had shown some very good form recently and were title contenders. Ruben Koranga with two goals, Jack Crane and Daniel Schofield were the Lechlade scorers.
