POULTON were on top for most of this match but found it difficult to break down a resolute defence and only made the game safe late on.

The Cinderford team Rank Outsiders hardly had a shot on goal but they frustrated Poulton on numerous occasions, before John Dawson eventually headed a superb goal from a Steve Andrews cross in the 60th minute.
The result was never really in doubt from this point and Will Power made it 2-0 direct from a corner ten minutes from the end.
Andrews scored from the penalty spot five minutes later to put the scoreline more into perspective, and ensure a quarter-final place. Rank, from the Glos Northern Senior League, played their part in a good game and seemed intent on enjoying their day out
