ATHLETICS: Sharon Baldwin wins first F55 prize at the Stroud Half

DESPITE the wet and windy conditions on Sunday morning, RSE runners recorded some great results.

Stroud Half Marathon
With one race to go in the club championship, first across the line for the club's men was Russell Young in 1:23.54 followed by Mike Primett in 1:26.12.
First lady was Sharon Baldwin finishing in 1:41.19 which earned her first F55 . Sharon Smith was second lady in 1:43.24 and first in the F60.
Well done to Laura Maddison, 2:01.42 who smashed her PB by more than five minutes and to Ivor Probert, 1:39.17 who continues to achieve PBs in every race along with James Thomas, who finished in 1:27.13 to record his PB.
Other Times: Simon Bowers 1:27.33, Andrew Maddison 1:39.40, Dave Whitlow 1:41.08, Brian Pitt 1:53.59, Elaine Chapman 1:57.57, Liz Coombs 2:00.12, Kirsty Pitts 2:03.56, Caroline Terry 2:20.45 and Jill Jefferies 2:40.13.
SALLY JAMIESON, back from injury, finished the Calne 10k in 49.47.
Oxford Half Marathon
WAYNE EDGINTON completed the Oxford Half in 1:49.58.
