A LATE Whaddon penalty took this game past normal time and they proved equally adept in the shoot-out, converting all their spot kicks to knock Bibury out of the county cup.

The home side had started well and took the lead on 12 minutes when a ball from Kanne Outram found Ashley Rockley, who raced away from his marker and casually rounded the keeper before placing the ball into the empty net.
Whaddon should have equalised shortly after when a header come off the crossbar and dropped kindly for one of their players five yards out, but he managed to hit the woodwork again and Bibury held on to their lead at the break.
After an early scare in the second half, Bibury's Rockley and James Keylock both had chances well saved, but just past the hour mark Whaddon levelled after some poor defending from the home side.
Bibury were soon back in front when a short corner was squared into the box by Rockley for Outram to fire past the keeper.
Huband then had two chances to make the game safe, his first chance going narrowly over, while the second found the side netting.
With time running out, Whaddon scored the equaliser from the penalty spot and then their keeper ensured the game went to penalties with a brilliant last-minute save.
