FAIRFORD Town hit eight goals as they took their tally against Carterton to 13 for the season.
After a 5-1 win over Carterton at Cinder Lane five weeks ago, Paul Braithwaite's side dominated at Kilkenny Lane to secure three points in style.
Fairford made a quick-fire start to the game with striker Alex Rudd notching a goal for the second consecutive weekend. Rudd headed home after just three minutes before setting up his strike partner, Jack Allan, before the quarter-hour mark to make it 2-0.
The Reds' impressive showing in front of goal continued with Dan Drewett hammering home a screamer with 15 minutes played. Drewett then found the net on the half-hour mark with another clinical finish.
Fairford showed no sign of slowing up and, after Nathan Gambling had replaced goalscorer Allan, the Reds netted their fifth of the day when Callum Parsons raced away and finished well just minutes into the second period.
Captain Henry Traas made it 6-0 with 17 minutes remaining, finding the net from range with a superb strike.
Substitute Gambling added two goals in the remaining 15 minutes, the first after good work from Rudd, to complete Fairford's dominance.
The full-time score score could have been more as Fairford also missed a penalty, but it was a solid all round performance ahead of Tuesday's home GFA Trophy tie with Berkeley.
