MOTORCYCLING: Kent grabs a point at Aragon

TETBURY teenager Danny Kent was able to take some positives home from his 15th-place finish in the Moto2 race at Motorland Aragon in Spain on Sunday, writes Alannah Fellows.
After a great battle with fellow Brit Gino Rea, Kent was able to pick up the final point on offer in the race.
The MMCG Tech3 rider had a tough qualifying on Saturday and started from 16th position on the grid.
Kent had a slow start but began to make up the places and was inside the top 20 by lap nine.
Despite never being entirely comfortable with the setting for his Mistral 10 machine, Kent managed a scoring Moto2 race for the third time this season.
Kent said: I was terrible at the start and it was probably my worst first lap in Moto2.
"The wind had picked up from the morning warm-up session and I made a couple of big mistakes on the first lap while I was trying to adapt to the conditions.
"I scored a point. Unfortunately a lot of people crashed but that can happen in racing and I will take a top-15 finish after another difficult weekend.
"We worked really hard to find a good set-up with the bike and never really found it, so to claim one point is not a bad outcome and hopefully I can be stronger at the flyaways on tracks I really like.”
