M4 Karting Cirencester League Div1.
POULTON recorded another good win, with all the goals coming in a 20-minute spell during the first half.
Barry Fennal put Sherston in front from the penalty spot after 20 minutes, but their lead was short-lived, with John Dawson equalising five minutes later.
A flurry of goals followed, Adam Salt restoring Sherston's lead within a minute before two goals from Dan Read (after 30 and 32 minutes) put Poulton ahead for the first time.
Rob Paget made it 4-2 to give Poulton a commanding lead five minutes before the interval.
Sherston certainly had the better of the second half and both sides created chances. There were, however, no further goals and Poulton retained their 100 per cent record to remain top of Division One.
