BIBURY picked up their first win of the season on Saturday against a Stroud side, which had yet to pick up a point in their first three games.
Bibury were forced to make changes from the week before with captain Dan Shannon injured and Danny Brunton serving a one-match ban.
The hosts took the lead on 20 minutes when, after a slick interchange of passes between O'Neill and Scott Huband, the ball arrived at the feet of Ashley Rockley who side-footed past the keeper.
Huband then turned his marker in the box only to shoot wide but minutes later he did score his first goal of the season following a good move through midfield.
The remainder of the half was mostly played in the Stroud half, Kanne Outram firing a couple of shots wide while Russell had a shot saved. Then, just before the break, the Stroud keeper pulled off a super double save to deny Huband.
The second half continued to be one-way traffic for Bibury. O'Neill had a shot come back off the post before heading a Rockley cross over the bar.
Huband also hit the woodwork with a shot against the bar.
Despite making a couple of changes and having further chances for Rockley, Outram and Parker, Bibury could good not find the net again.
