LEAGUE LEADERS Bibury made hard work of beating mid-table Kings on their first match back after a two-week break.
On a very blustery afternoon, chances were few and far between in the first half as Kings packed their midfield to stifle the home side.
The best Bibury chances fell to Ashley Rockley, whose shot was saved, Danny Brunton, who fired wide, and Josh Russell who had his shot blocked.
Bibury broke the deadlock four minutes into the second half. Captain Dan Shannon launched a long free kick from his own half and Kanne Outram stretched out a leg on the right side of the area and managed to loop the ball over the keeper and into the net.
Bibury suddenly started to carve out more chances: Rockley had a shot saved, James Keylock's effort was deflected over and then he had another shot saved.
Chris Haynes brought a good save out of the Kings keeper and Brunton shot wide. Todd Hathaway also had a couple of efforts – one saved and one over the bar.
With two minutes to go, Bibury did score a second when Rockley made no mistake firing past a flat-footed Kings keeper after a pass from Harry Deacon.
Bibury MOM: Matthew Brunton.
