Bicester 5 Stow-on-the-Wold 60.

Bicester rallied and showed some aggressive attacking intent, but Stow's defence prevailed and stole possession after ten minutes, quickly winning a scrum on the Bicester line. With a rare bit of possession early in the second half, the Bicester backs did score a good try before an injury to their hooker led to uncontested scrums.

Bicester were trying to kick their way out of trouble but around the hour mark, Stow scored twice in a minute through James Ford and Alex Kelly to make the score 41-5.

From another uncontested scrum on 70 minutes, George Rodden supplied a try-scoring pass for Tim Holmes to score close to the posts and, three minutes later, Joe Nott (back from a long injury lay-off) fed Tim's brother Jamie Holmes, who scored out wide (53-5).

Cafearo had scored in the first minute and he rounded off a fine personal performance in the 76th minute, scoring a good try after a move of at least ten passes. Cafearo's successful conversion brought his kicking tally to seven out of ten in the game.
